Overview

Our qualified Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza at 8am and drive you in air-conditioned vehicle to the Pyramids of Giza. Firstly, you will see the largest pyramid of Khufu (Cheops), known as the Great Pyramid, is the only one of the Seven Wonders of the World that still survives. Next to the great pyramid are the pyramids of the son Chephrenand the grandson Mycarinous, you’ll be able to take a close up look at the Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren, the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, the place where the priests mummified the dead body of King Chephren, owner of the second pyramid.

You’ll enjoy lunch at a nice local restaurant, then proceed to Saqqara (the necropolis of the Ancient Egyptians) to view the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest large-scale stone monument. Learn why it was built.

Then you’ll continue your day tour to Memphis city, the ancient capital of Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramses II and the Great Alabaster Sphinx are. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. Your visit to the ancient capital of Egypt .

Ends your tour and you will be taken back to your hotel.
